You might wonder how poking & poking & poking with a single needle could possibly keep someone entertained & amused for hours on end. You'd really have to try it to know how addicting it becomes. And how satisfying it is., as a hunk of raw wool turns into something right before your eyes. Actually, that's the general description for anything you make with your hands - but it seems to be particularly amazing when it happens with such a limited amount of ingredients and tools. Perhaps that's why I find it so relaxing and enjoyable - everything I need is in one little basket by my chair.
I spent the winter of 2004, creating a Noah's Ark for my grandbabes. It was a natural choice since Noah's Ark has been my theme for years. And of course, I love creating animals in any medium.
Noah's whole family is aboard as well - Joan, Shem, Japeth, Ham and all their wives - and horses, zebras, polar bears, giraffes, rabbits, penquins, elephants, mice, a rooster & hen, skunks - and of course ... donkeys.
